St. David’s Orchestra - Conductor: Brent Tucker
- The St. David’s Orchestra is comprised of local instrumentalists who enjoy playing orchestral repertoire together. This ensemble presents two concerts a year – in the fall and spring. Once concert dates are determined and repertoire has been selected, the music is e-mailed to the musicians, we have three rehearsals, and then perform. Members make the effort to attend as many of the three practices as they are able to. Past highlights include:
- Mozart's Violin Concerto in A Major & Double Piano Concerto in E flat Major
- Haydn's Symphony 104
- Beethoven's Symphony No. 1
- Beethoven’s Piano Concertos 1 and 3
- Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 24 in C minor
- Max Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor
- Haydn’s Symphony 101 - The Clock.
- New members are always welcome, especially strings!
