Sacred Earth. Sacred Work: Creation as Blessing

A Message from Rev. Peggy:

My dear friends, this Sunday, September 26th I will be worshipping with you as your worship leader.  It is at once exciting and a little daunting, but I look forward to being with you again. The indigenous community has asked that, if people are willing, to wear an orange shirt or something orange this Sunday and on the 30th.  They deeply appreciate our show of support.

I invite you to join me on a journey during this Creation time entitled Sacred Earth, Sacred Work.  In your worship space you might like to have a candle to represent the Christ candle and I am inviting people to designate a special offering container or holder of some kind that we will use to place a special offering each week (if you are willing), and at the end of the series these offerings can be sent to the church.  Thanks for your generosity.

Your invitation to our ZOOM service for Sunday has been emailed today. If you would like to be added to our email listing, contact the church at 403 284 2276 or [email protected]

Also attached are two announcements: Crab Apple Jelly Fundraiser and Friendship Club. Please open those attachments and read the information provided.  I look forward to seeing you on Sunday and please find moments to be outdoors and enjoy our beautiful fall weather.

Please Note: Office hours at St. David's will comply with the newly issued Alberta guidelines. Our office administer will be operating from home. Call 403 284 2276 to leave voice mail (for Rev. Peggy, Amy, Brent, Roberto, Wayne, Walley)

With Rev. Peggy back and, along with our new Pastoral Care minister, Amy Haynes, we have a fall to look forward to with eagerness. Council regrets to inform you that, with the severity of the Fourth Wave of COVID-19, our plan for a welcome back service on September 26, 2021 will be delayed until further notice. We will gather on ZOOM Sunday mornings. The mandatory restrictions that were announced on September 15, 2021 by the Alberta government can be accessed by clicking of the following link: https://www.albertahealthservices.ca/topics/Page16944.aspx
