Hope, Peace, Joy, Love... Four wonderful weeks of preparation for Christmas. This morning's service offered the invitation to open our hearts wider with love. Our sanctuary was so beautiful with an Inn door being the centre of the setting. Rev. Peggy told us how a full sized inn door came to be on the chancel -- she took a picture with her phone and the image was enlarged to stand five feet tall. It was applied to a structure and it became a metaphor for the door to our hearts.
The sanctuary choir offered their ministry in song this morning with their focus on "Love." Behind the scenes, coordinators of Sacred Service, scripture readers, candle lighters, "Driver" for livestreaming, Sound and light board operator, counters... so many of us to make service at St. David's so very special.
