We were reminded today that a familiar story told over the centuries is not necessarily interpreted the way we learned it. Rev. Tim challenged us to review the story of David and Bathsheba from the point of view of the story-tellers with a particular focus on how the stories of women of the Bible are often told. Seductress? Victim? Manipulator?
