From Matthew 9: 32-33 -- After they had gone away, a demoniac who was mute was brought to him. And when the demon had been cast out, the one who had been mute spoke and the crowds were amazed and said, "Never has anything like this been seen in Israel."
From Andrea Gibson: "Sometimes the most healing thing to do is remind ourselves, over and over and over, other people feel this too."
From Dr. Brené Brown: "Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do."
This morning, Dr. Michael Trew was our guest speaker on this Third Sunday of Lent. With Rev. Peggy presiding, Brent Tucker, reading and his choir, Wendy, Kerry, Paula, Ruth and Heather offering their ministry of song, we considered the toll taken on our mental wellness during this time of COVID-19. The tech team of Deb, Tapis, Brenda and Dave were on hand to make sure that our community could gather to worship. Thank you to all who participated, both in the sanctuary and at home. You are encouraged to follow the Ritual Actions demonstrated by Rev. Peggy as part of our series: Vessels: Holy and Whole. Bless you and have a great week.
