Jesus spoke encouraging words to his disciples as they joined him for the Passover supper, for what turned out to be their last meal together. Relying on the words from the Gospel of John, we are told that his followers were assured, like we are during the time of COVID-19, that he would always be with us -- that the wisdom within each of us would guide us and that each time we showed love for one another as Jesus had loved his disciples, Jesus would be with us.
