Pentecost Sunday featured two videos this morning, the first a presentation on the Pentecostal Colours with the Northminster Youth and a second, a reading of Acts 2: 1-21 in many languages from many places across the world.
The Sanctuary Choir, with Sarah and Brent directing and Garrett accompanying sang two anthems which carried forth the theme of the service. Communion in the sanctuary was with simple elements -- a grape and a wafer-- and at home, with individual elements.
Rev. Nancy read us a story during Conversation time, entitled "Hello" which featured many languages along with amazing illustrations.
Thank you to the volunteers from our partner churches who prepared the sanctuary for service and coffee following the service. St. David's held its Congregational Budget Meeting beginning at 12:00 noon. Thank you, to the Sanctuary Choir, Brent, Sarah and Garrett and to the PSALT team of MaryAnn, Deb and Brenda for their technical skills.
