Science, God and Us

Sunday morning's service was presided over by Dr. Richard Christmas and Diane Bates with a focus built upon the wisdom of scripture and contemporary thought. The seed for meditation (Michael Bassey Johnson) set the tone for the reflection: "You can believe in whatsoever you like, but the truth remains the truth, no matter how sweet the lie may taste.” Richard drew upon his experience as a veterinarian and, as usual, offered his sense of humour to the discourse.

Brent's musical direction this morning involved joining with seven choir members to sing When at Creation’s Dawn There Was No Sound (James E. Clemens & Jean Janzen). Thanks to Mike Stockdale for his tech leadership -- welcome aboard!!
