Spring Forest Qigong at St. David with Janice Rider

Every Wednesday morning between 9:30 and 10:30 am, Spring Forest Qigong is offered at St. David's United Church.  So, what is Spring Forest Qigong (SFQ)?  It is a moving, meditative practice developed by Master Chunyi Lin to provide medical benefits.  There is a focus on breath, repetitive patterns, visualization, and music.  SFQ helps to balance and calm the mind, slow the body, and bring about a sense of peace.  It is also an opportunity to connect with others and build community. 

Janice invites you to a meditative practice that will enhance your mental and physical well-being. the focus is on breath, movement and visualization while listening to soohing music. This practice is for everyone and may be done sitting or standing.
